Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Have you started to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day yet? If you’re getting into the spirit of things why not add a pop of colour to your home and wardrobe? I am a huge fan of anything green, it’s fresh, works well with grey and white (two of my other favourite colours) and of course it’s the perfect colour for Paddy’s Day!

Here’s my round up of some gorgeous green picks…

St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is a week away and it’s never too early to get organised for this super fun celebration. Paddy’s Day is probably one of the most celebrated days throughout the world. Here’s my guide on how you can get into the Irish spirit.

Drink up

First up is Guinness, the the famous Irish stout. It’s estimated on St. Patrick’s Day that 13 million pints are consumed! If you don’t fancy a pint of the black stuff you could opt for a baby Guinness (my personal favourite) Just fill a shot glass almost to the top with coffee liqueur and top off with Irish cream. It should float and look like a Guinness.

Go Green

On St. Patrick’s Day it’s customary to wear shamrocks and/or green clothing or accessories so dig out something green for March 17th. If you’re like me this is a natural opportunity to buy something new, here are some cute suggestions.

Celebrate With A Silly Hat

Attend a St. Patrick’s Day parade and make sure you find a Guinness hat to wear. There is no reason why you can’t dress your pet up either, purely for comedy value.
