I’m hoping the heatwave we just had wasn’t it for the summer. My winter wardrobe has been banished into flat pack bags, so for that reason alone summer needs to stay!
One look I am loving at the moment is relaxed Boho. It’s probably not even that ‘in’ but that’s never really stopped me. I ordered a Boho inspired dress the other day and let’s just say it looked very tent like, which wasn’t really the look I was going for. I’ve been doing my research and spotted some dresses that might just do the trick. If you’re loving the relaxed Boho vibe check out my hot picks below.

I don’t know about you but I am long overdue a holiday in the sunshine. Living through a Canadian winter was a great experience but I am officially chilled to the bones. With spring now in sight it’s time to start thinking about a summer getaway or at least a long weekend away.
To help you decide where to head to TripAdvisor has announced it’s top 10 holiday locations for 2015 so if you’re struggling for inspiration this should help.
The top-rated worldwide destinations:
- Marrakech, Morocco
- Siem Reap, Cambodia
- Istanbul, Turkey
- Hanoi, Vietnam
- Prague, Czech Republic
- London, United Kingdom
- Rome, Italy
- Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Paris, France
- Cape Town, South Africa
With Marrakech being voted the number one destination I thought I would give you a rundown on why this chic and cultured city should be on your must visit list.
Marrakech is a year round destination and spring and autumn has pretty much guaranteed sunshine and pleasant temperatures. At the height of the summer daytime temperatures can reach 38C. Another big plus is that you can get there in around three hours making it an ideal destination for a last minute break.
The city is bursting with character, from snake charmers to the colourful markets where you can buy anything from handicraft to local spices and remedies and everything in between or dine in one of the many hidden restaurants.
Take a trip to the Koutoubia Mosque, one of the major landmarks in Marrakech or see the beauty of the El Bahia Palace. Some of the finest hotels in the world are located in Marrakech and are surprisingly good value for money.
Happy Holidays everyone!
A huge trend this season is culottes. Love them or hate them they will be everywhere this spring. I personally like the idea of them. I don’t own a pair (yet) but am very tempted to add a pair to my spring/summer wardrobe.
The beauty of culottes is they can be dressed up or down. Always wear with a wedge or heel as the culotte can have a habit of making you look shorter than you are, yes even tall ladies need to be aware of this!
You should add them to your wish list for April. Here’s my pick of three of best you can buy right now.
If the release of Fifty Shades of Grey has got you thinking about all things grey then welcome to the club. I can’t say I will be rushing to watch the film, these pretty grey buys are far more attractive.

Aerie lace bralette $31.26, Zara off-the-shoulder sweater $199, Ted Baker jacquard midi dress $358

I don’t know why but I have an obsession with getting a pair of dungarees. Old school I know but I think they’d be perfect for fall with a chunky knit.

These are top of my list – Topshop MOTO Indigo long leg dungarees – $90
